1. Who are we?
We are your pet's favorite pooper~scooper. When they leave it we scoop it!
2. What area's do we service?
Long Island, New York ~ Pooper Scooper Suffolk County - Please call for locations.
3. How often do you come?
That depends on our customer. Pooper scooper customers can have services ranging from one time only to three times a week.
4. What do we charge?
Please see our rates page. Prices will vary depending on the # of pets & how many times we come to your home. Commercial customers please contact us for rates.
5. Is there an extra charge for the first visit?
Yes. Providing that there has been a lot of accumulation of waste over a period of time. Minimum of $30.00 includes 1 5 gallon bucket, $10.00 per additional bucket. Prices for this visit must be paid at the time of service. After the initial charge you will start to be billed monthly.**If there is no waste accumulation then you start at your regular monthly billing cycle. Please note that if you choose to suspend service for any reason, you will have an initial fee again.
6. How do I get billed?
We will mail or e-mail you an invoice on the last day of the month. If we start your service in the middle of the month, then your bill will get pro-rated for that month. You only get charged for the days that we are there. Payments are due upon receipt but no later than the 10th of the next month a $10.00 late charged will be added to your bill. There is a $20.00 service charge on all returned checks. After 2 returned checks you will have to mail your payments to us in the form of a money order or cashiers check. or pay online via PayPal. Sales Tax is not included on any of our services; it is added to your monthly bill.
7. How can I pay?
We accept cash, checks & all major credit cards(visa,master card, amex, discover). Credit card payment is thru PayPal on line.
8. Do I need to be home?
No. Except for our 1st meeting. We want to have a meet & greet session with you & your pet.
9. Can I leave my dog out? ( Pooper ~ Scooper Services)
Yes, in most cases, unless your dog doesn't play well with others. We try to meet each dog prior to servicing their yard. If your dog does not allow us to enter the yard & you are not home, you are still charged for the visit. If it occurs more then twice we will ask you to please keep your dog inside on the day of your service. Service can be suspended for this reason.
10. Should I unlock my gate? Give you a key?
Yes. We will not climb over gates. If you need to make arrangements then please contact the office.
11. Do we work when it rains, snows etc...?
Dog's poop year round right? Weather does not play a factor in your pups life. So yes, in most cases, unless it is severe weather i.e.: thunder & lighting storm, ice storms. Snow ~ Up to about 2 inches of snow we will service your yard. WE WILL NOT SCOOP IN SEVERE COLD OR HOT WEATHER!!!
12. Contracts?
No we have easy start & stop services. Please note that if you cancel service you are still obligated to pay your bill.
13. Holiday's
We do not scoop on the following holidays.
New Years Day ~ Easter ~ Memorial Day ~ 4th of July ~ Labor Day ~ Thanksgiving & the Day After ~ Christmas Day & the Day After. If your service falls on one of these days we will ensure that your area will be scooped either before or after the holiday. If that is not possible then you will not get charged for that day. There are no exceptions unless we have an agreement with specific clients.
***When the office is closed for vacation there are no servies provided during that time.***
14. Can I skip a day? Vacations?
Yes, you can temporarily suspend service with at least a 24 hour notice. Unless notified your service will continue and you will get billed. PLease make sure you contact us to avoid unnecessary charges.
15. What about health risks?
All of our equipment is disenfected and sanitized before and after each use. We are here yo help stop the spread of infections diseases.
